Women and Child Care

The study of the distribution and determinants of health-related status or events in mother and children and the application of health problems related to mother and child follows a systematic assessment of the health of the women in reproductive age and the children in the community including timely collection of data, analysis, interpretation, and use of Maternal Child Health related data. Mother and child are most vulnerable to the morbidity and mortality. Women and child health epidemiology program highlights the skills to address the health problems of the mother and children through surveillance, assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
